For Windows

• First, you need a video program to re-encode your video.
  I personally use Video to Video Converter
  Install the program then start it
  
  
• Second, add your file to Video to Video Converter worklist
  Drag and drop your file(s) in Video to Video
  (If you select more than a file, the same configuration for re-encoding will be used for all your videos)
  
  
  Select MP4
  
  In "Video Options", select the following options :
  Video Codec : x264
  Video Bitrate : depending the resolution and framerate of your video
  
  • 720p 25/30fps : 2500kbps
    
  • 720p 50/60fps : 4000-5000kbps
    
  • 1080p 25/30fps : 5000kbps
    
  • 1080p 50/60fps : 8000-10000kbps
    
  In "Audio Options", nothing to change (unless you have a 4 or 6 channel audio stream)
  Then clic on "OK" button
  
  
• Start the conversion
  Select the output folder then clic on "Convert"
  
  
  Your re-encoded video is now ready to be uploaded on the Fursuit Archive
