The "Berliner Parkeisenbahn" is a  children's railway 
is an extracurricular educational institution, 
where teenagers can learn the functioning 
of a railway in a small scale.
On the 6./7. Decembre, which is the St. Nicholas day 
in germany was a little special event in which the "Berliner Parkeisenbahn" 
introduced itself to the public. 
The hole event is mainly suited for families.
So the parents and the children can travel 
with old steam locomotives on a rail track with 
a complete length of 7.5 km. 
It was also possible to drive a handcar, 
visit a small model raiway which was also built on the site.
The "parkeisenbahn" also offered warm food and drinks,
 and St. Nicholas came by to visit the children and to give away little gifts.
